Eliminating those annoying “Accept / Reject” banners on websites

How can I set up my browser so that I only need to specify my preferences for cookie banners once, and all future cookie banners will be automatically configured according to my preferences?

Surely this has been done / or is being worked on.

It seems so disparate at the moment - some websites are an overall accept whilst some drill down.

Can we not have this structured in a way that allows an overall preference be applied to any website the user visits.

I have been using uBlock Origin with some aggressive lists (that you can enable in the settings) such as:

- AdGuard Annoyances

- EasyList Cookie

- Fanboy’s Annoyance

I see a Cookie banner from time to time, but it is very rare.

Ghostery is an addon that includes this feature known as "Never accept"

"I dont care about cookies"-extension seems to work most of time.

Brave browser will get rid of most of these banners
