Perhaps people will rely on their smaller circles of real people for trusted communications and everything else will be devalued over time. I am curious about the positive and negative effects of people becoming indifferent to most topics when they lose faith in platforms having genuine people. People do not like being deceived and may become indifferent, disenchanted or disenfranchised.
Maybe this leads to people moving some of their discussions to real time video chats and ignoring all printed content on the web?
Or if it really makes no difference at all.
Fake people, fake profiles, fake posts, fake replies. Fake photos, fake videos. Bots talking to people, bots talking to bots. Companies advertising to bots.
I already know most of my followers and likes on Twitter are from bots.
Maybe in the future, the key question with every non-real-life interaction will be "is this a human?"
Looks like "the future will be fake"TM
