Is there Toastmasters for other skills?

Question

Does anyone know of other classes/programs like Toastmasters, where you can learn a skill and apply it right away with immediate feedback? Any skill really, not programming or public speaking specifically. Not MOOC/online courses, something more hands-on with very short feedback loop.

Cooking - Look up recipes for what you like to order in restaurants and make them at home. They probably aren't that hard, even for really delicious, expensive stuff. You provide your own feedback, and you get delicious food, and you save money. Follow enough recipes and you will learn to improvise, and make your own recipes.Learn to drum on Drumeo.com. Then once you've learned the basics, go find an open jam session in your town. Be humble and receptive. Musicians will probably kindly ask you to give up the sticks after a song or two, but you will get better so much faster than you think, as long as you stick with it. If folks are mean, then keep practicing and find another jam session.
