What big ideas are worth getting behind for the next decade?

Looking for answers from software engineering perspective. My personal favorites are addressing climate change, space exploration and healthcare/ medical devices.

I can't think of anything but longevity/rejuvenation research.

For now, the idea seems far fetched but if it starts to become promising, let's say if scientists will be able to rejuvenate a mouse in a lab, then there are a lot and I mean a lot money to be made.

Every government in the world will be interested in making populace young again, we, as a species are not getting younger through childbirth, hence making population young is going to be a primary goal of policy makers.

The consensus opinion now is that this is not possible, but in reality, I think the consensus is about to change.

When that happens, there is going to be a ton of work in the field and a ton of investment money

It's not "big" like climate change or space exploration, but it seems pretty likely that within the next ten years it will become possible to simply write a script and have it rendered into video/audio format, i.e. I write a Rick and Morty script and automatically render an episode with quality and voices similar to the real thing.

This will lead to an explosion in content that dwarfs the present "peak" TV.

I think the role of AI in healthcare is interesting. LAION (nonprofit and creator of huge image datasets) has a Discord with a medical channel, and it's interesting to follow, even if a lot of it is over my head. I think bots could someday be better than humans at MRI analysis and combining huge amounts of knowledge from different disciplines.
