Password manager that doesn't suck?

I want a password manager that does not "suck".

What I want/need:

* somehow integrates into iOS Safari

* somehow integrates into macOS Safari

* somehow integrates into Chrome

* somehow integrates into Android

* has password history (that is non-negotiable)

* isn't owned by shady company and pushes weird nonsensical features (VPN, antivirus, etc) or popups

* cares about synch for me (so no KeePass)

* ideally a bit secure

I am able to pay a bit, but not insanely much.

If self-hosting is an option for you (that already partly resolves not having to deal with 'shady companies', or at least you can choose a hoster yourself); I've been using Vaultwarden[1] to great satisfaction for about a year now and would recommend it. I don't think it does password history, but as you're in control of the hosting environment you could add that yourself. Must say I don't see the use of password history though - why is that useful?

I use it on the cli, ios, sync with git, and there are plugins for browsers at the bottom(haven't tested it), free and the best there is for me, came from lastpass.

I use BitWarden. I can't speak to iOS, but it ticks all the other boxes

I happily pay for the premium version, but you can self-host.
