I will use Stripe as a payment gateway, but their fees are high at first sight. Many customers think as well. Instead, I'm looking for full-fledged billing software that can manage a few payment gateways and maintenance subscription payments like (ChargeBee, Rainex, Spreedly, etc).
Also, Adyen is a good decision, their solution is user-friendly and requires lower fees than Stripe.
Everything depends on the tasks that you are trying to solve.
