Is it just me, or new Google Messages icon is bad?
After recent Google Messages app update it received a new icon [1]. While glancing at homescreen I often catch myself involuntarily trying to "focus" the icon by squinting, as the icon looks out of focus. Is it just me, or does anyone else have similar experiences?

they have been rolling out sporadic changes to UI.. first the timer UI changed months ago - to be worse than it was. Next it was the phone icon, and i think 1 to 2 days later the messages icon. There have also been numerous other changes to the actual texting UI..all this is enough to throw me over the edge to getting on with grabbing a Pixel and chucking GrapheneOS on it.
It's representative of Google's chat strategy, IMO. Why settle for a single chat bubble icon when you can have three in one.
