How does DST time change impact your global remote team?

Question

I just woke up where two different remote teams have requested meeting time changes to adjust for DST changes.I am in the US and they are in Asia.A few of these meetings are recurring.As a result, I&rsquo;d be losing an hour of sleep.How do people do this? Shine an axe and keep your calendar entry unchanged?Move it to accommodate people&rsquo;s local time zones?

Last week my calendar was a mess. Some meetings made by EU colleagues the time changed, meetings hosted by me or other US colleagues stayed the same, but time changed for EU colleagues. At least this week US changed.I really wish we could just do away with changing times twice a year. It's really annoying and screws with all kinds of things. Currently, my cat, who does not care that the number on the clock is different than a few days ago.

Working remotely with an international team, I have trained myself to spring into action even during deep sleep, like a cat would do. You get used to this though.
