Are there alternative UIs for macOS?
The current MacOS desktop experience is visually stunning, but becomes stimulating and distracting. Is there an alternative UI for MacOS that would work like TWM, Rio, WindowMaker, or even classic Mac interface?
As a followup, in the meantime as a compromise, is there a way to disable the graphical environment post-boot, perhaps just a shell?
