What are you currently reading? Would you recommend it?

Almost done with my current book, would love to get recommendations for what to check out next. For context, I enjoy reading business, technology or product related books.

Currently reading The Voltage Effect by John A. List. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in why certain things scale or fail to scale.

How to win friends and influence people by dale carnegie. My third read. should be mandatory reading for all people.

Started 'wealth of nations' by adam smith, it's 1281 pages long??? But what ive read so far is brilliantly delivered.

About 1/3rd through "zen and art of motorcycle maintenance", it's not about motorcycles. definitely another mandatory book.

about half way through 'rich dad poor dad' I feel like I already knew this; I grew up poor.

3/4 the way through 'bring up genius' which is polgar sisters' father.

2/3 the way through 'breath' by james nestor. Extremely convincing book, made the change, never going back.

A lot of what I'm reading now relates directly back to my response to the recent "What are you working on?" thread[0]. So you'll see reflections of my recent interest in metaphysics, epistemology, and various cognitive science topics.

Would I recommend any or all of this stuff? Well, if you're particularly interested in cognitive science, metaphysics, and/or epistemology with an eye towards working on AGI, then yes. Otherwise, "it depends".

Metaphysics: A Contemporary Introduction[1]

Epistemology: A Contemporary Introduction[2]

The Organization of Behavior: A Neuropsychological Principle[3]

Sensation and Perception[4]

Cognitive Psychology[5]

Memory[6]

Coincidentally, the current book I'm reading came from a recommendation by a lot of people on HN to the question of how to be a better sales person:

Fanatical Prospecting/Wiley by Jeb Blount

I'm half way through and it's a good read so far.

To sleep in a sea of stars, definitely recommending it. Sci-fi.
