Do you wear any rings while you type?

I've found a ring on my finger tends to interfere with typing, and it can hit the keyboard or notebook housing, potentially scraping things.

Curious if this is an issue for anyone else, or how you've addressed it.

I wear a ring while typing, usually on my index, middle, or ring fingers. Couldn't handle wearing it on my thumb at first because it kept tapping/scraping against the keyboard or the mouse and it'd get distracting in a bad way because I usually rest my entire palm on the keyboard.

I keep it on a chain around my neck on occasion, but if I'm wearing it, then: the way I type nowadays is by resting my wrists on my laptop (or a wrist rest if I'm using a PC) so the part of the finger my ring rests on never touches or comes close to the keyboard.

Those ergonomic wrist rests are pretty good at helping me maintain a decent workflow while compromising with whatever is adorning my hands. They're not necessary though, I usually substitute those with a thick textbook, blocks of wood and whatnot depending on my needs at the time.

I wear five rings, all the time, and it does not interfere with my typing so far as I have noticed. Perhaps you tend to lay your hands flat on the keyboard, with fingers extended, instead of holding your palms above the keyboard with fingers curled, as per the ergonomically preferred typist's posture? I can't see how else a ring would ever hit the keyboard.

I almost never wear mine unless I go out. If I'm not typing, I'm usually building something or doing something else and I guess I just never got used to it, lol.
