Confluence Alternative(s) Supporting Markdown?

Question

A SaaS is fine if they integrate with Okta SSO, otherwise something open source that we can self host would be the backup. But this is definitely a `Build < Buy` situation I'm in.Luckily outside of engineering they don't use our confluence. So the target audience is technical.Any advice here or questions are welcomed. Thank you.

IMO wikis are anti-pattern.They always getting out of sync and eventually abandoned.Just store markdown files under the /docs/ folder in the git repo.
