Notion Alternative

I asked this question 2 weeks ago, but it was weekend and I think maybe a lot of people who might have had a suggestion, did not see it so im asking again. if thats ok, im sorry, admin/mod please go ahead and delete this thread.

Notion, and most of its competitors, use huge margins. im on a laptop screen and i dont care for wide margins, its taking up too much of my screen space. i want a clean document, write from the left of my screen, to the right. simples. is there any alternative saas out there that actually lets you uses the width of your screen, or do I have to go back to using ms word and set my own margins? (imagine that, the original and still only one with proper margins)

headers and covers, at top of documents. don't need those either. why is that forced?

it seem ridiculous to me that everything has to be so large in web interfaces. buttons, menus, margins, padding...

here is a screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/SolskOo.png

please help.

Set your own custom CSS stylesheet for the website? Perhaps with something like this?

Are you familiar with the Notion Boost browser extension?

The feature you want would require dropping $38 for the lifetime 'Pro' version, but it's there if you want it.

Could you please be a little more specific about what it is you're trying to do.? It would help in suggesting alternatives for you.

I mean, if you don't like MS Word, but want something like that, try Google Docs?

Maybe Google Docs is better? You can give it a try.
