Can Chatroulette make a comeback?

Seems the only thing that ruined Chatroulette was the never ending stream of nudity.

Since TikTok and OnlyFans the name of the game has changed and I doubt many of the people who use those apps even know what Chatroulette is and believe that means it could experience a second "one-hit wonder".

Also, I think it would be a good acquisition for a couple media companies currently that could use better social positioning.

Omegle video has become a rather amazing site recently. There's some form of modern busking now where people play for strangers on Omegle and then edit the videos and post it to YouTube.

For example, https://youtu.be/Z3FjhBuFKyM

There's been a few services specialize in this, e.g. OmeTV and some that target musicians. This will probably be the next generation American Idol.

I go on Omegle fairly often and I've seen only one penis in recent memory, I think they've done a great job cleaning the site up and I often have meaningful conversations on there.

The idea that someone would seek to monetize the service is abhorrent, I cannot think of a way trying to extract money from people that would improve the UX, nor a way that having that extracted money could then be used to improve the UX.
