Will a higher spec MacBook Pro (M1) consume more battery?

Question

Obviously the battery is bigger in the larger screen size models, so assuming the same screen size and workload - would a higher specced Macbook Pro consume the same amount of energy?

Depending on your workload, whether it is CPU / IO bound etc. i.e Your higher spec machine takes less time or energy to compete the task.But generally speaking your higher spec M1 Max and higher capacity memory will use more energy at rest than a lower end spec machine.
