What do you think is the most promising branch of AI?

I've been an engineer for 15+ years, and dabbled in various areas like image generation (years ago, before DALL-E), NLP, Deep Learning.I'm looking to dive in again, but without a specific goal, I'm curious what people's opinion on what are the most promising fields of AI?

Of course this is AGI/ASI. Something has to keep living live on Earth and keep maintaining our culture but with no human. Kind of another aggregate state of mind.
