How would you build a system to get news fast?

I'm doing a thought experiment and wondering how I would get news about specific companies fast. This means not leveraging RSS feeds or news aggregators. The closest commercial offering I can think of is something like Benzinga.

Given the above requirements, how would you build such a system?

How accurate would news about specific companies be?

You will only hear what they want you to know, rather than what the truth is.

You would need to be a fly on the wall at the company's meetings, rather than rely on their press hand-outs.

Would you expect them to broadcast the fact that they will be out of cash and bankrupt within two months? What would that do to their staff numbers? What would that do to their stock prices?

You need a mole/industrial spy inside the company to get whatever it is that you seem to want.

You’d monitor Twitter and try to build predictive models for whatever it is you want to learn (stocks?).

Part of the key would be able to detect the “dogs that don’t bark” - Twitter accounts you previously identified as being tied to a company suddenly not saying things for example.
