Examples of projects with great commit messages?

It's off the android store now, but an Australian weather app by a company called "shifty jelly" had commit messages like:

  Tested by penguins, our icons are now usable by flightless aquatic birds everywhere. We also have the right time zone for Mars, if you need it.

There are quite a few C systems with comments and commit logs which go to "I don't yet know why this works"
