App for keeping notes on friends/family?

Question

I recall a couple years ago I saw a comment on HN that someone's uncle used to keep detailed notes on the people in this life (e.g. not just birthdays but whatever they told him the last time he saw them or heard about them).As a follow-up, a couple people posted apps that helped folks keep a "database" on the people in their lives. However, I can't seem to find this comment anymore, and no search on Google is helping me find what I'm looking for.Does anybody here recall what the apps were called, or know something similar? Pen & paper doesn't work for me organizationally and while I could use any note-taking app it would be nice to have something specifically for this.Thank you!!

I have a Trello board with places that mattered to me as a list and name of people that I care about as a card. There are about 20 people in there. I have log of every encounter (in person, online meetings, chat summaries) I have with them since a long time (10 year'ish). Great board to ponder at sometimes. With Trello mobile app I can log on the go.

On one level, this sounds a bit creepy &ndash; a set of personal Stasi dossiers ...Then again, do you really need to keep that amount of detail about the people in your life? Couldn't you use a set of spreadsheets broken down by relation (friends, close family, extended family, etc.) with tabs/sheets in each workbook for each person?

I use Logseq as a personal CRM and have a page in there for most people in my life.
