What are some effective ways to attract donations for a dog shelter?

I am sorry in advance, this is 100% irrelevant for a place like HackerNews. But this is the first place with so many knowledgeable and technically advanced people.If anyone cares to come up with a piece of advice, I will really appreciate that.There is a dog shelter in the city I live in that has absolutely no sponsors or support from the government. Yet, it's the only place known to shelter dogs all around the country, trying to save them from being killed or dying from hunger.I donate money to that shelter almost every day. I don't even have any ideas but really want to help them financially. Right now, they don't even have funds for food and medicaments.There was a place on Reddit for donations, but they have very strict rules regarding the required reputation so I can't post there.Are there any other options?

Off the top of my head: put on a website called thisdogdoesexist.com, or thesedogsdoexist.com to avoid nsfw names.
Create profiles for the dogs in that shelter with a bio, story, pictures, and clips.
Leverage social media with shorts and reels (Instagram, Facebook, maybe TikTok or something) with short, sweet videos and a call for action.
Post updates.

Take a few dogs out to meet people. Parking lot or somewhere public, set up with signs and donation buckets, let people talk to the dogs and have people there to talk about what good work the shelter does and how they will use the money. Good way to get dogs adopted, too.

If they're a 501(c)3, Amazon Smile can list them as a charity and people can select them, allowing the charity to receive a cut.
