Why does every company have the exact same corporate value?

I have noticed thousands of companies now have an explicit corporate value of "Do The Right Thing". (https://duckduckgo.com/?q=corporate+values+%22do+the+right+thing%22&ia=web)When did this start? Why do they all use these empty platitudes to pretend they have real values?
