Does programming make you think everyone makes lots of mistakes also?

Much of programming involves fixing the numerous bugs that are in the code that you write.

Doesn't this predispose you into thinking that people in other jobs make a lot of mistakes also?

And so maybe programming makes you more distrustful of people and their products/services?

Yes but bugs in code are usually due to technical debt and doing things arseways from the outset. If you 'ship early, ship often' you will also 'ship bad code early, ship bad code often'.

No. My own mistakes remind me that everyone makes mistakes without meaning to. I try not to interpret mistakes as stupidity or incompetence, and rather as normal human limitations that affect us all.
