Twitter “permanently suspended” for NO reason. What's going on?

Question

My Twitter account, @simon, has been permanently suspended by Twitter. No reason. I don't think I tweeted anything in the last few weeks. Anyone able to help me understand what's going on? It's Twitter's, and they can do whaterver their TOS allows them to do with it (and they can change their TOS in whatever forms they want... so effectively, they can do whatever the hell they want with any account, as long as it's not illegal).I have created perhaps a couple of accounts on Twitter in the last decade. Always treated them as ephemeral stuff (same for any other digital thing I don't pay for... and even for the ones I pay, I'm very suspicious about them. See Netflix introducing ads for paying customers. What a joke).

Short account names on twitter are valuable enough for resale to justify mass reporting an account for any violation, however so slight.Twitter is a dumpster fire.

As someone previously said as soon as you get de-platformed: "Be nice" [0] to your Big Tech overlords.
They know it is not 'your' account anyway. Given how they are going down the path of a tech dystopia, its probably for the best that your account was permanently suspended as they can choose who to give a platform to or do business with.
Now that they have de-plaformed you, they have made it much easier for you to stop using their service as this can happen to anyone.
So you should "Be nice" and once you have been de-platformed, you should still be very happy that they did.

Do you use a VPN? I had mine perma banned as well immediately after using a new VPN provider. The reason for ban said &ldquo;ban evasion&rdquo;. You should have gotten told a reason too.
