How do you handle the chaos in your Slack channels?
Hey all! My team uses Slack like a lot, and it is such a mess. We always can't find important discussions/decisions/ideas, ask the same questions and start the same conversations over and over again, etc. How do you handle it? Any hacks?
Search combined with memory is key. Slack has quite a powerful search system which makes it easy to retrieve previous discussions. When I have a doubt regarding whether we've already talked about a specific topic in my team, I systematically search keywords related to that topic. It works well for my case and can be beneficial to your coworkers as perhaps they'll be more likely to search what's been said previously before sending their message.
