Is Cloudflare a good domain registrar?

Recently I was considering moving some important domains I have to Cloudflare, however after reading this thread:https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=31576353I became rather skeptical and cautious. Is pending delete still an issue? Curious what other people's experiences have been like a few months out from this original thread. Thank you!

I think that if you ask enough people, you'll receive both 1* and 5* reviews for every registrar. YMMVI will suggest Porkbun, never had an issue ever. Very good at communicating.
