I guess, but its the same problem as Patreon and every other "pay creator" platform: The TOS states black and white that someone can be kicked off the platform for a variety of reasons that amount to "you're doing something controversial and if we take heat for it we can boot you off".
Now at the moment Gumroad is the wild west of content, so far I haven't heard of any big "controversial" creator being booted, but TOS makes it clear it is entirely possible, so I guess so far so good, but Patreon was also very relaxed until it wasn't.
