If something of yours was just flagged and it shouldn't be
If you see someone's post has been flagged or is dead you can vouch for it, but if your own post is flagged and you think it is wrong that it should be - so wrong that you think it is damaging to the community if content of this nature should be flagged - what do you do?

If the story of concern is the Salon article about Christian homeschooling, my gut wouldn't consider it "necessary for HN's health" because my gut leads me to believe that the intersection of fundamentalist Christian homeschoolers and HN'ers is small (though I believe a bit of overlap exists) and therefore the article is unlikely to cause changes in child rearing techniques.
That leaves it mostly in the preaching to the choir category at best and an attractive nuisance for commentators in the average case.
I ask myself what are people supposed to do with it other than get upset one way or the other? I mean the article has sparked deep passions in you.
Good luck.

YMMV. Good luck.
If the post is political flame-bait it usually gets flagged. That's not what HN is for. Anyway if the story is serious enough it usually surfaces to the front page typically under a new guise or covered by another news outlet. The truth rises to the top.
Hope people like what you posted enough to save it, I guess.
