Have you tried https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp ? A maintained fork of youtube-dl that also supports many other sites.

I don't do mass-scraping with some automated tool. TikTok allows you to save videos, so people do that and re-post on other channels. There is enough of that happening that scraping is redundant. Just the way Vine[0] lives on forever on YouTube.[0] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vine_(service)
