Are electric leaf blowers being adopted, maybe in Europe?

Current leaf blower equipment are so loud and run on gas. So they cause noise and air pollution.

Seems like a good case for governments to incentivize more green tech thru electric leaf blowers.

Side note: [In the Bay Area] The frequency of leaf blowers seemed overkill (2 times per week). So I reached to the apartment manager.

According to the management: "Please note the city is in charge of the landscapers and has its set schedule and requirements in order for our community to meet the city guidelines of acceptable apartment living."

Kinda surprising that the city is involved.

On Nextdoor, complaints about this are as common as "someone's throwing dog poop bags in my garbage can."

Has anyone actually talked to a gardener about why they use the gas-powered ones?

Otherwise, this sounds like "green virtue for me, higher costs for thee."

In Australia, electric leaf blowers are very common, almost certainly the majority of such devices. Most are battery-powered, but some have a mains lead.
