You can see a more or less full list of what I'm "actively reading" on Goodreads[1]. Obviously there's a lot of time slicing going on here and not all of those are getting a lot of attention "right now". But my "currently reading" list has everything I've at least read a few pages of, placed a bookmark, and intend to finish (one day).

What out of that has a lot of attention right now? The Charles Proteus Steinmetz[2] biography[3] is probably getting the most attention. I've read a few books about him in the past, and I would say he is a fascinating character from the history of electrical engineering, and that this book is well worth the read.

Steinmetz isn't anywhere near as well known as Tesla or Edison, but arguably played just as important a role as either of them in advancing the use of electricity back in the late 19th / early 20th century.

The Silence of the Lambs. As someone who mostly reads non fiction, it’s been fun to rip through a real page turning classic thriller for a change!

Dawn of Everything, by Graeber/Wengrow. I wish this book would replace the Sapiens etc discourse

On Freedom by Maggie Nelson
