Why don't open app indicators in dock get bright with high energy usage?
In this way, you could close apps when you want the battery to last longer.
That's a good idea. What should the screen do when the screen brightness is causing high energy usage? :-)
You should make an app that does this. macOS is pretty extensible so this might be possible to do.
