The topics in question are often relevant to working in tech. I know because I've been the training person for various tech organizations. I did my best to bring in information and topics that are fresh and new.
So I get the feeling that a lot of workplace training is not being done out there. A lot of tech people are doing their work by using their tech skills, going home to rest, repeat. And that's all they have time to do, maybe. But that's a workplace problem, too. It's a problem for leadership and for the future of any corporation.
Traditional logic, creativity, and tech skills are only valuable to a point. Beyond that point they will get individuals stuck in subjective loops and estrange them from new capabilities in problem solving. When I mention this, people tend to think, "ah, this person is talking about (people|team|emotional|life) skills!" But in fact this applies to many tech problems and involves techniques that can be studied and applied personally.
Anyway. Just the first type of interaction that comes to mind.
