I'm trying to think of ideas to work on and crowdsourcing ideas to HN seemed like a viable option. So, what are some of the ideas and solutions you would like to see implemented in the climate and/or energy space?

Making things more energy efficient is always commercially welcome.I would focus on improving general energy efficiency over other, more trendy/risky endeavors.

I'd create some tool that calculates your carbon footprint based e.g. on the size of your YouTube/TikTok videos or Instagram photos. Let's make everyone aware that the only way to fight the climate change is to change our behavior.

I&rsquo;m not pushy with this topic but as a species we could farm and consume much less animal meat. Not sure if that&rsquo;s inline with what youre looking for but it would have an impact.
