How do you prepare for the recession?

The local government in France told people to shut down Wifi. All the KPIs are in the green for a recession.

What does this mean, shut down wifi? (Oh I looked it up...unplug your router when on holiday [1])

Simple big-picture recession framework: 1) Lay out your concerns for self and others 2) Rank them by fear level, re-rank by probability x fear level 3) Create a basic check-in structure with calendared items, to shore up any issues that seem likely and risky or dangerous to your wellbeing 4) Repeat.

Anti-framework: 1) Don't express your concerns for self or others 2) Wait for conversations to turn dark before you express anything at all 3) Scare everybody incl. yourself 4) Repeat

I found a new employer, at a 50% pay increase. And then moved to a country where cost of living is 60% less of where I am originally from. If I was frugal enough, a months worth of salary would buy me 6-8 months of time here. I'm making sure that I have enough savings to coast around this region through a recession for the next decade or so.

Basically not at all. The standard advice of having a backup plan for employment and an emergency fund should cover this well.
