Alternatives to ELI5?

ELI5 (explain like I'm five) is an interesting socialiolgy concept of crowdsourced education. Do similar social concepts exists? or what's the breakdown of the best ELI5 answers? Could we use NLP to analyze ELI5 answers and deduct patterns? What do we deduct ourselves from r/ELI5 without such computed analysis?

I think it's all about cutting out jargon, and limiting vocabulary to the the most common denominator.

Back in the 1980s and 1990s we had "X for Dummies" books.

Or, perhaps you need the Cliff-notes version.

Or, can you explain it in "Basic English"[1], i.e. for a non-native speaker

Any youtube content makes me feel I'm a 5 y.o. but with ability to buy.
