Can anyone help w referrals for Discord/Reddit/LinkedIn, Spotify, etc.

Sn Software Developer(full stack/backend) with 4+ years in Java, Ruby, and JavaScript, and recently picked up Elixir. Have worked at a large Fintech company. Haven't had much luck with applying to jobs lately and was wondering if anyone could help out with internal referrals - open to various interesting tech companies. Thanks!

Finding a new job is less about being selective, instead try applying to as many companies as possible and see what sticks. You only need one job.

Have you tried applying outside of the companies you mentioned? There are a lot of smaller Ruby focused companies that hire frequently. It might be worth applying to those because the interview process is less difficult there and in general if a company is small they tend to get fewer applicants, i.e less competition for you.

I've had particular luck apply for jobs via https://rubyonremote.com/remote-companies specifically when looking for Rails related work.

It may be helpful for folks to help you with reviewing your resume. Are you getting interviews and not moving to the next level, or are you have difficulty landing interviews?
