Should HN's title character limit be expanded from 100 to 150?

I often struggle to post news articles with the original title because they exceed HN's 100 character limit. Asking questions can also be difficult. Raising the limit to 150 would be much appreciated.

The limit is 80, not 100.I run into the limit occasionally, but it's possible to take out some phrases from titles and still have them be accurate. If I do, I'll comment on my own submission making a note of it.Titles are for a summary of a question. The question itself is supposed to be expanded and elaborated on in the text of the submission.

I'd say maybe ~120 or so, but yeah I'd like to see a minor extension of the limit. Would make things a bit easier and allow for less editorializing of more complex headlines. (Operative word: allow.)
