What's a Web 3.0 consumer idea that can take off?

Most of the big Crypto / Web 3.0 ideas are restricted to infra, defi, gaming or NFT projects. I have yet to see a Web 3.0 consumer idea that has taken off.

Any predictions here ?

Before a stampede of the same old repeated anti-crypto responses screaming the same nonsense here, I will give you examples of useful projects out there that have a very high likelihood of surviving.

ENS - Ethereum Name Service is one of the most useful 'web3' projects out there. [0] Over a million domain names already registered on there and counting.

Skiff - An open source, decentralized and end-to-end encrypted alternative to Google Docs, GMail, Workspaces etc (that also uses ENS, for sending verified emails). Login with a crypto wallet and store your encrypted files on IPFS.

Crypto Payments - Any related to crypto payments has a great chance of taking off here. For example, it is exactly what Stripe is doing with Twitter for crypto payments [2] for creators, especially with USDC. I'd expect more projects to use USDC for payments in the future which that is part of the 10% of projects that will continue to survive.
