“We're having some trouble serving your request. Sorry”

Since HN’s come back online, I am randomly been getting an error message saying, “We're having some trouble serving your request. Sorry” and have seen others on Twitter sharing getting the same error.

Does anyone know easy/free way to log HN not being down, but returning an availability error — preferably from a system that’s not dependent on AWS; HN is currently on AWS as a result of the main & fallback servers experiencing disk failures.

Preferably it generate a report that publicly available like the one below, but that report doesn’t appear to log these types of errors:
