Why have I just been given a Firefox Pocket update?

https://www.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/102.0/whatsnew/?oldversion=101.0.1

I've never enabled Pocket. Surely the updater can tell that I'm not a Pocket user?

Why can't Mozilla realise that most Firefox users use it as a browser, rather than as a pathway to someone else's idea of "curated content"?

Don't they believe that, after pushing this non-optional "add-on" for 15 years, they've achieved market saturation, and that everyone that wants it is already using it?

Try using LibreWolf. It strips out Pocket and other Mozilla ‘features’ like Studies, Telemetry etc
