How Do You Feel?

My right eye attempted to self destruct about 2 months ago, since then I've had surgery, and now am waiting for the bubble that was added to dissipate. I find myself unable to do anything other than sit at a desk about 18" from a 31" monitor which I can barely see. I trip on things outside due to the smallest of height differences. It sucks.

It's become obvious to me there is a substantial chunk of the population who believe insane things, and our democracy is toast.

It's become clear to me that our oil supplies are running out, and we're all blind to this fact... we might not shift away soon enough, which will lead to billions of un-necessary deaths. (No, this isn't about climate change, but I'm not denying that either)

The arc of history tending towards justice was a nice fairy tale. It's clearly past it's sell by date.

So, over all... I'm a bit cynical, and tired, and salty.

What I need is for someone to tell me that X can't possibly be done on a Windows computer.... where X is sufficiently hard to keep me challenged for a while.

I don't know about anyone else, but I have nerve endings in my skin, and they detect things like hot/cold/soft/hard/smooth/rough. The nerves then send electrical signals to my brain which decodes them into perceptions I understand.

So yeah, that's how I feel.

Good just starting the day, just finished house work now ready to code
