I'm am ambivert.

In most situations I am deeply introverted, I think it is a blast to spend the whole weekend reading, coding, hiking, playing single player video games, etc.

On the other hand if I am properly prepared and motivated I can outperform most extroverts at the things they do for a very short time.

More and more I appreciate the benefits of being plugged into existing social connections. Last weekend, I drove about five hours to attend a graduation party and I had a great time talking to new people because I was there with numerous extended family and found I didn't have to carry conversations by myself, in fact my relatives would do a great job of introducing new people to the other relatives that were present which would always interest people and make it easy for me.

It's generally a costly effort best avoided in the absence of clear personal gain. Also, I live in one of the more backward parts to the US, where people are openly celebrating the fact that women's ownership over their own bodies is once against subject to majority votes in state legislatures.

If you've ever voted Republican, I fucking despise you. You are authoritarian filth and traitors to this country and the libertarian ideals on which it was founded.
