What are some companies you refuse to work for?


Saw this question on the reddit r/cscareers subreddit so I figured I would ask it here to see what the HN community has to say.

Deutsche Bank: for me they are since a few years synonymous with an criminal organization; big oil: too much reasons

recently went through a job search. what I learned about where I didn't want to work:

* any startup as an employee. I just can't be sold on your stupid idea.

* health tech. health industry in general is just messed up.

* companies with bad reputation for WLB. What's the point? The numbers don't add up.

Generally any sort of military/defense company.
