Why picture-in-picture is still not available in YouTube app?

I remember seeing it in &ldquo;try new features&rdquo; in YouTube app&rsquo;s settings (I&rsquo;m using iOS), but now it has been removed and I can no longer find it anywhere in the settings&hellip; picture-in-picture has been out for many years and what&rsquo;s stopping YouTube from making it available for users?

Probably their A/B testing showed that Pic-in-Pic doesn't increase revenue, so they botched it like so many other GOOG projects.
