Why is my lap on fire when connected to a Zoom with a 2019 MBP?


It's audio only. My lap is burning hot. This seems ridiculous.

2.6ghz 6-core i7, 32GB RAM. Only Zoom running. Shameful.

If it's a 2019, make sure you're charging on the "correct" (right) side of the machine. Doing the opposite can cause overheating.
