Would you host your new SaaS startup on Heroku?
I've seen some negativity about Heroku, specifically around their staffing and investment since they were acquired by salesforce. Interested to hear general sentiment from the community. I would also be interested to hear about alternatives.
Render is the new Heroku. I'd look at them, also maybe Fly.io for a bit lower-level approach, as solid alternatives to Heroku. Generally cheaper as well.
I would host it in a dedicated server in ovh and hetzner. Saves me tons of money and probably even time too as i dont want to learn the whole Heroku system
