Does anyone remember a webzine from the 90s called “Salvo”?

I'm trying to find any record of it. I used to read it a ton as a teenager... it was one of the first "news" websites I ever found. Archive.org isn't helping...nothing at salvo.com but I'm not even sure that was the address. This would have been around 1994-95... it was kind of an anarchist / foreign policy zine if I remember. Not the current Christian fundamentalist magazine called "Salvo" at salvomag.com, which seems to have been around since 2006 (although the new one has really funny headlines like "How Pornography and Drugs Changes your Brain" [sic]).

Anyone got a recollection or a copy of what I'm talking about?

I suspect if you are right about the date that it is lost to time. I searched quite a bit, and the earliest record of any webzine I could find was (ironically) the current owners of salon.com - which have had the domain since July 1995.

I should also note that I'm not 100% sure of this, but sources seem to indicate the current salon.com was the first registrant, so I suspect you'd be wasting your time looking specifically for that domain.

My guess about your best bet would be searching the oldest archives of alt.zines you can find.
