Interesting SDN/VPN Projects?

I read Wireguard white paper lately and later discovered tailscale. This Software defined Networking/VPN kind of domain was really interesting to me and upon exploring further, I came across following interesting projects:

- tailscale (WireGuard)

- innernet (Wireguard)

- headscale (Wiregarud, control server for tailscale)

- nebula

- ZeroTier (virtual ethernet)

- weron (WebRTC for SDN)

What other interesting SDN/VPN projects are out there that you find very interesting/magical?

I like OpenZiti - https://openziti.github.io/. It can be embedded inside anything. They recently did it to Prometheus and are working on Ansible - https://openziti.github.io/articles/zitification/prometheus/.... Allows you to close all inbound ports so no external network attacks are possible. Here is an overview of superpowers - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMUj_5fklasKF1oisSSuL....

Disclaimer, I work for the company the sponsors the project.
