If we create a new country with blockchain, what would it look like?


We can now use DAOs to mimic national institutions.

Traditional countries were built on the basis of geographic conditions.

If a new country could be created using DAO, what kind of country could be created?

With that sort of question, I don't think you will be getting the answer(s) you would want or would like to see.

But the answer I will give you is that applying 'blockchain' to everything does not make sense. Best stick to payments or domains instead.

Let's see at least some replying with an absolute response and sweeping the brush on everything, or over-generalising and scanning anything that has the word 'blockchain' on it and screeching on every related blockchain post.

Is it possible to create a new country?

This question is more telling than the details of how the country is run, with or without blockchain.

Where would this new country exist? If there is no physical place, the "netizens" would still have to abide by the laws of their physical location, including paying taxes. This pretty much means you need land. If you have land, you need to protect it, so now you need a military.
