I’m a CSE new grad with no experience. Should I negotiate an offer?

I have an offer from a small logistics company to do some software engineering. It comes with a base salary and potential for annual bonus - nothing else. I have no previous internships or professional experience or pending offers.

Given the current job market, would it be valuable to negotiate for a base increase or bonus? Or should I just accept the offer since it’s my first job out of college?

I've never had anyone say "No, how dare you negotiate, offer rescinded"

Do it.

Take it, if it's fair enough. Then kick butt for a year and re-evaluate

You have 100% power to negotiate if you're willing to lose the job offer. Otherwise you're gambling.

For my first job, I told the recruiter "I really want to work here, but I need my pay to be 50% higher because I have another offer for that amount". I was just honest about it and they were willing to meet where I needed to get hired.

For sure. Worst case you don't gain anything extra.
